My red LHD wagon with AC just appraised at $48K.
Picture is not the best with some glare, but shows the new Puma Front bumper.
Such a shame that you don't want a red one.
Very straight and all original except for the 200TDI and new Ashcroft 1.4 TC.
AC was added using the Elite kit.
Headliner is like brand new and top is completely straight.
Doors shut solid with no need to slam.
1983, one of the first 800 built and of those 800, very few were LHD.
Steers straight and drives perfect... no wondering on the road.
Although it has removable door tops - front and middle doors, have never been unbolted and removed.
Spent most of it's life in a fire brigade building in Switzerland, thus the red paint.
No holes were drilled through the roof.
Paint is a little faded and has a few cracks and chips.
Frame and bulkhead are good.

Local national recognized guy who is a charter member of the national appraiser organization (forget the exact name). Even Navy Federal will take his appraisal for loan purposes.

And the local race shop Abacus Racing who have a machine shop, repair shop, and restoration shop.
They work on Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes, Rolls Royce, vintage MG, and Lots of Land Rovers plus sloads of other vehicles.

I think a lot of the value was based on comparable sales like the Swiss LHD 110 that sold within the past year for $70K.

Keith -

I know you've seen your share of Land Rovers, but if you haven't seen Trident Green in person, you'll be impressed. Impossible to speculate about the quality of the paint or to ID it as original from one small picture, but it sure seems to be - and better yet, this one checks all the boxes (LHD, early doors, side steps, A/C, updated seats already, etc), not to mention that it's got Johan-cred (that's a technical term). I, for one, love the County stripes - but can tell you a 110 in Trident looks even better in just the solid color.
i like your style

So a red Perentie RHD 6x6 flatbed with modified pop up is out of the question?
