English is not my native language, quite often I get away with the excuse of language barrier.... I don't think this time... Just some bad reading from my side.☺️

Thanks Speedpin, I will email him

This car was for sale in The Netherlands for a long, long time, nobody dared to touch it as it is a full VIN swap. Registered as a 1984 there for sure is no 1984 part on this car. It also had some weird history coming from Greece.

How it got in the country... ??? Maybe somebody was lucky.

I saw another early D90 with a 200tdi last year in Austin that I got cold feet on purchase. I wonder if this is the same guy?

I'd be skeptical of any import that wasn't already registered. If it doesn't have a US state tag yet I'd wait to buy it until it did.

Actually this car is not in Texas at all, still in The Netherlands.

So no weird import story, wondering though why somebody lists this in Texas. What kind of spam is this.?

Now THAT'S what he's talking about!

Keith -

I know you've seen your share of Land Rovers, but if you haven't seen Trident Green in person, you'll be impressed. Impossible to speculate about the quality of the paint or to ID it as original from one small picture, but it sure seems to be - and better yet, this one checks all the boxes (LHD, early doors, side steps, A/C, updated seats already, etc), not to mention that it's got Johan-cred (that's a technical term). I, for one, love the County stripes - but can tell you a 110 in Trident looks even better in just the solid color.

If I hadn't just bought that POE 90, I'd be all over this one. Then we'd be arguing the etiquette of "licking" on someone else's thread. Bleck! That just doesn't sound right.

As you say, enjoy the hunt!

Best value trucks I have seen recently have been the perentie Australian trucks. Isuzu diesels from the factory, galvanized chassis from the factory, well Maintained, bull bar and winch.

Pickup one up for 25k or less and spend the rest on upgrades, ht and a paint job
