WTB Restored NAS 110

Hi all,
Been looking for years, saving money for years, working on convincing the wife, for years, and I'm finally ready to try and buy a NAS 110, restored. Looking for new galvi frame, 300tdi or 4.6, etc, etc. I've had a d90 15 years ago, DII, and really looking for a nice 110. Anyone now anybody, without a 20 month wait, that may be thinking or looking to sell their 110?

Thanks,
Craig

300tdi or 4.6? I would caution that these two options are vastly different. Make sure you've done your homework; much of which can be done right here. If you can describe how you will likely use the truck most often others can describe how each option will perform in those scenarios.

For instance, i find Diesels perform beautifully off road with almost no effort. My off road style however is to take it easy and I try not to blast through/over shit. I used to do that and its fun but I tended to break shit and limp home more often. A big v8 on the other hand is much more enjoyable on the road. Again, this in only my opinion and something that I've developed over a few years of driving different configurations. They are all fun and exciting but when the honeymoon is over you don't want to be sitting with a configuration that is not ideal for your primary needs.

Good luck! You have a fun journey ahead.

Clay

Thanks for all the info... Still, trying to get a restored NAS, galvi frame, etc. Trying to find "turn key" truck with minimal headaches(kinda an oxymoron in LR world)

sounds like you need to call Mike at ECR and be patient in regards to turn around time.
