WTB: Rear Recovery Points for D90

Looking for the stock version (eye/tear drop shaped) for a '95 NAS D90. Anyone?

Just FYI - those aren't really recovery points - they were primarily for use as tie downs on the boat ride over here.

Better solution for a recovery point? I'm probably only going to be doing light wheeling, if any at all. More interested to use if someone (like my wife) gets stuck in the snow somewhere...

Are you looking for them to serve as recovery points or as tie down points for towing the truck? As Josh said, the factory eyes are really meant for tie down...if for recovery, pick up a hitch mounted shackle setup or, in a pinch, you can just put a strap in the hitch tube and put the hitch pin through it.

Their are countless manufacturers and sources for something like http://www.winchdepot.com/Winches-Wi...FZGiPAodET0AwA

I believe some of the Rover parts houses sell them as well

Yes, something like the Warn Receiver Shackle would be great. Anyone have a similar one, new or used in good shape, for sale?

If you are stuck in the snow, just wrap your strap around the rear bumper. It will be fine.

Soapy water / KY jelly, etc. is is basically a must. Yes, good idea to remove trim panels - only takes 5 more minutes to do so.
