Check out my left hand drive 300tdi in the for sale section. I have a NAS cage and rear bumper and tub and some other goodies like brand new elite heated seats. Didn't plan to sell the extras other than the tub which comes with it but I could be persuaded...

That has been on the market for at least 2mos.
IIRC, it was on eBay for 33k BIN.. And no bid.
For someone looking for turnkey D90 crawler, this looks awesome. Front and rear lockers, etc.
But it'll take time & $ to revert back.

NAS in budget, I'm sure it is the lime green accents are the reason why it has not sold (no joke).
Plus there is not one 50" LED light bar on that thing.

Previously salvaged title from what I recall. If not then I agree all that crap has had something to do with it not selling.

Seems like a lot of money for this truck to me too. The rock crawler set up decreases the potential buyer pool. And, it is missing the NAS roll bars. this non_NAS cage set up would support Josh's good memory on things such as salvage title for this Defender....

Lots of cost to get this back to stock / street. You may make some $ back selling off the bits though.

You can get financing for NAS trucks. I financed my NAS through PenFed Credit Union.

Sorry, I was wrong about the Roll Bar / Cage set up. After a closer look and a quick check with the owner, the ex cage connects to the original NAS roll bar. He also stated the truck has a clean title.

Maybe this one deserves some love!

Mint condition! Babied its whole life!

I made him an offer, told him he could keep all the aftermarket stuff. He is only about an hour from my house. Lets see what happens.

Truck has a clean title, but is worth about $10k less than he has been asking for what is approaching a year. Spend $27.5k, strip the off road attire, sell that for less than what it will cost you to return to stock (gearing, diffs, suspension, bumper, interior, repair of exterior, wheels, tires...the list goes on).

I offered him $27k and he can keep all aftermarket parts so long as he has a OEM one to replace it. He wasn't interested.

Yeah, I wouldn't be, either. He's getting pelted with 30%-ff lowballs all day long, that is guaranteed, and likely knows that the kit isn't worth $10,000.

At current market prices, I dont think $37k is that high, I think low $30k's would be better, If that had boosts on it without the brush bar and the roof lights (and any other lime green accents), I bet it would sell quick at $35k. I also wouldn't try to bring it back to stock, leave the exo-cage, drop to a 2" lift and 33's and rip all the extreme stuff off it. Everyone here makes it seem like these weren't built to be modified from stock and used offroad.

Why is the snorkel on the right side if it's a 95 NAS?

I did it; personal experience tells me it's not as hard as people make it out to be

Don't worry, I will be sure to have the engine swapped to a TD5 and the VIN's removed before it leaves port. I don't want any issues.
