Damn. That truck was for sale on and off many times over the past few years being traded dealer to dealer over and over with an owner or two along the way.

Josh,

If you search you'll find there has been more than one yellow ST converted to a POE setup. I can think if at least 4, including JimC's. There was another one listed in the for sale section not too long ago, but when I checked it turned out not to be the same one as above. Sorry, I don't have the link. I'm sure you can find it though.

Edit- Here's the link to the one I was thinking it was, but it's definitely a different 90:

Yeah I can think of 3 off of the top of my head - but maybe the 3rd and 4th are very similar so I'm just thinking 3. Definitely wasn't thinking of that one with the galvy rack though - that one brought it to a whole new level.

Here you go.

Thinking we will see a lot more of these given all the 350hp+ GM V-8 conversions.

That's the same truck here isn't it! http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=39356

I sold the guy who owned it a set of rear seats. I see they're still in it! He bought it from Freeman Motor Company. It was a really nice looking truck. Nice guy too. Sad it got wrecked. Hope someone restores it.

Nobody ever emails or calls me back... They are probably too busy managing their Nigerian kingdoms and whatnot.

Still looking in the $20-25k range.

Thanks!

What are you looking for?

I will let you know if I find something closer to your neck of the woods (Texas, right?).

Cheers,
Mike

NAS SW - there was one on Dallas Craigslist on Friday for $30K with low miles and really great condition. I tried contacting the owner a few times; alas, it got pulled off on Sunday.

I'm expecting to see it for sale at one of our dealerships for $10K more within the next few weeks.

Thank you Mike for reaching out. Apparently, we are about two years too late. When I joined the forum, NAS D90 were common between $20-30 -- now they are a unicorn of the community.

Thanks Trevor... I've looked at it on your other post a few times. I would love it, but I'm capped at $30K -- I assume that is to much of a drop for your customer, so I didn't reach out to you. GLWS

Hey gents-

Thanks to those who helped, but I am punting on a D-90.

I opted instead for a brand new loaded 4 door Jeep Rubicon (2014 for $32.6k).

Cheers,
Mike

Seriously though if can't pay what they are worth then get what you can. Rubicons are great vehicles for people that like that sort of thing , but in ten years my defender will still be worth something.

I don't think so. You must truly want a Defender to put up with its issues, leaks, road side repairs, etc and accept it for what it is. You need the "Eye of the Lucas" to be a true happy Defender owner.

You need to have sh*t for brains to be a Defender owner. Trust me on this.
