Wtb nas 110

Looking for a good quality NAS 110. Not exactly trusting of the dealer listings claiming no rust etc with high markups. If anyone has a lead and/or knowledge of a solid truck for sale please let me know.
Thanks

You have a good quality NAS 110 without a crazy high mark-up?

NAS 110s are way over rated and over priced... painfully slow with stock drive train.... I owned #421 and while I'm partial to how they look my current 110 is ten times the fun for half the money.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm picking up what you are putting down. I guess I should pass on the 110 dream and move on to a 90 that is slightly more attainable or an older 110. You all have been super helpful and I appreciate it.

Don't give up on your 110 dream. Look for a quality ROW truck. Nobody has ever wished they has a smaller Defender. A 90 carries 2 people and some gear. A 110 carries 4 people and some gear or 2 people and a metric shit ton of gear.
John's truck below is about as badass as it gets.

my Row LS 110 is headed to orlando Monday... You should head up there for a test drive...you won't look at a NAS 110 the same again.

If you're in Florida, want a 110, & you've got NAS money to spend, you should definitely hit up phoenix37. Any decent D with a Gen IV motor & trans in it is arguably one of the best D's in the world, even compared to a brand new one - don't look a gifthorse in the mouth?

X2 on what Cowboy said and while it is Orlando have Safari HP put a SD cage on it, sliders and an ARB bumper with winch some lockers and you will have arguably the most badass 110 in the country. I love that truck.

Well, he pays a 3% finders fee for every endorsement.

Thanks guys...just trying to offer Andy some perspective from a guy thats owned or driven a lot of different defender variations.. the ringing endorsement should be for Nick and his conversion... I think Mike at ECR summed it up best.

Quote
You might think it sounds like a sales pitch because we are a business, but we are busy anyway. We don't sell Nick's products, but you can get them from him directly, so this isn't a sales pitch for us.

The set up is superb. Ours is the LS3 and it is smooth and docile when you want it to be. It hardly works at all to move the 110 around. In low range it is smooth and does not hunt or get jumpy on the throttle. If you decide you want to get into it the power on the highway it is nothing short of amazing. I have driven NAS 110s with 3.9s, 4.6s, our Pursuit 4.6 and 5.2 engines. None of that comes even close to this truck, not by a long shot.
The set up fits correctly and everything is easy to access and service. The service intervals on the LS3 are so far superior to the Rover V8 that it isn't even in the same category.
Outwardly you can't tell it has the LS3. The starter sounds different than the Rover V8 starter, but at idle and all it sounds like any other V8 110 (unless you are in the throttle hard).
The tap shift set up on the 6L80E means you can drive it nearly like a manual when you want.
As each guy here drives this truck the words when they exit the truck range from "Holy Shit" to "Wow" to "That is amazing".
Nothing short of amazing sums it up.

This thread might be moving away from a wanted thread but you have all given me a lot to think about. The cage is a must for me. Any idea of associated cost? Not going to need lockers right now. Thanks again

Budget $3000 for a full cage but I think it's less.
