I bought a Mountney wheel + boss from John Craddock UK. Shipping to the US was actually cheaper than shipping a similar part from Rovers North. I went on the Craddock website and didn't see the Mountney name, but the wheel I got looked very similar to this and had the same part number.

Were I to do it again, I'd skip Mountney and get something a little sturdier - maybe a Moto-Lita? The Mountney wheel I had would bend if I really pushed on it, granted it was in a Series III without power steering and I was often wrenching the wheel to parallel park in the city.

I'm pretty sure the boss is the same pattern as a Momo, so you can get the easy to find and low cost boss and put whatever you want on it.

What's your current steering wheel? It may be preference, but I do not like...

Yeah I agree MotoLita is better, but I am doing this as a Temp solution to be able to clutch easily

Horsey, see my response to Woody, I have a nice wheel, but with the foot situation I need to lift my leg to clutch, hence I need the room between the wheel and the door card

The Mountney wheels are cheap. I think mine cost $65 USD total for both the boss and the wheel. Shipping from the UK was under $20.

I really liked the steering wheel, it was good leather and the slightly smaller size seemed to fit the dash better. The factory steering wheels are gigantic.
