WTB LT230 defender frame mounts

I'm looking for the two mounts that mount an LT230 R380/LT77 combo to the frame in a defender

See the picture for a rough idea (this shows a different tranny). ZF ones have the wrong angle on the DS.

Do you want the rubber discs or the steel mount parts? Maybe a look at the part diagrams would help clarify.

those are LT 77 style mounts that you pictured Charles.

I have a few extras of these. I can supply parts 1 and 2 from the parts diagram Red90 supplied. But I am running low on part 12 if you can source it elswhere.

Thanks for the diagrams John. I need the the whole assembly but will be buying new rubber eventually and will galvy the rest so not worried about condition.

Understood. I need both the RHS LT230 assembly as well as the LHS assembly that will fit an R380 tail piece. I have no idea if this is different from the LT77. I'll look fo ra diagram for an R380 and see if it's the same part numbers

Yeah I need all 3, although I could make 12 easily enough. Let me verify if there are any differences between LT77/R380 and I'll send you an email. Got the LT230 RHS as well?

Yes I have the LT230 RHS as well. You will need a 12 for both sides. 12 is an easy fab. Only need to notch one side and a center hole with 4 bolt holes. I can scribe one on some cardboard if that helps.

Tom, I'm doing another galvy run anyway so it's a waste to get fancy (unless you want to sell them cheap )

Haven't found the LT230 RHS one yet, but these show that the LHS/Driver side ones are the same regardless if LT77 or R380.

So I know I need NTC1201.

I also need NRC8204 but i can fab that no problem (really just need to know the thickness).

Now I am not sure if the RHS mounts shown here are for the LT230 or not. The parts manual I got these from doesn't show a mount in the LT230 section so maybe they are. But I need that assembly as well (NRC6528 and 90575585).

Jim I'll send you an email.

RH are for LT230. I might have a set, but I am not sure. I need to get the roller back together which I sort of hope to do this weekend.

When are you doing the galvy run? Maybe I can meet you there and we can save via a bigger batch.

Don't use the NAS shiz unless you are using a NAS tunnel, floors, and seatbox. They will put the transfer box right where the front of the seatbox wants to be.

Use the stuff that Pendy has and it will put the transfer box further back. Or, maybe you don't care.

Dave, I'm using a 109 body on a 110 frame and not far enough along to know which is better for this. Given this, what do you think? I just assumed I was better off keeping the LT230 in the stock location so that I could use stock mounts, frame holes and stick driveshafts. But I am free to put it anywhere I choose if necessary.

The motor is fairly large and will be where the transmission usually is, so I may have to make tunnel mods, but not too worried about that right now.

Ron not sure when but will let you know. I am well over the minimum already so no savings there, but it would save you if you don't have much.
