Does anybody have a hitch adapter for a LR3/4 laying around and not being used? I am in need of one. Part number LR040248G.

Thanks

I went for the Curt bolt in hitch, something like $130 incl ship. have heard of stories of the older LR hitches wearing out and dropping?

I have an extra Genuine hitch. I've also installed the Curt hitches- pretty simple install but I can't recall their capacity.
Haven't seen or heard of Genuine hitches dropping out of the receiver, but I do spray lube on mine as needed on the mechanisms/pins.

Ive got thousands of miles under my belt towing my D2 with my D3.

If towing a jetski, snowmobile or putting a bike rack on your D3, the Curt or AB options are good. If towing a vehicle or a boat, I strongly recommend you get yourself the updated shorty Genuine Version. Ive seen bad things happen to the older long version.

Erik, I have an unused OEM hitch that I assume would be from 06'. It looks just like the one on AB's website for $520. Is this picture the newer short or the older long version?

50% of the pictured LR3's can be driven! I still haven't had time to troubleshoot much on the white one.... but I'm holding out hope!
