WTB local: 1 or 2 KM1 33inch tires

Will be upgrading to KM2s in the next year, but need to drive a bunch this weekend (heading up to Boston) and I have some crazy wear and a bit of a wobble on my front two tires. It looks like the culprit is the passenger side tire, so I want to get newer rubber up front, get them balanced, and see if there's a bigger issue.

I have a brand new KM1 spare which I could use, so if someone has a newer KM1 just taking up space, I could use it. If you have two...even better. Can pick up on my way up to Boston.

HELP!

I would suggest all 4 tires at once.. It you have tires of different diameter due to excessive wear it is not good for the t-case that will have to compensate for the different in diameter...

I would jus thold off and get a new set as soon as you can afford them or find a compete used set..

Good advice Randy, thanks. My rears are probably 60%, and fronts are probably 5%...I just figured if someone has two close to 60-70% that should buy me another year or so.

If you could find something close, that would be good but Try not to have that big of a difference in the tires.. 5 and 60 is a big difference..

I looked at it this weekend and rears are like 80% they are in real good shape. Fronts are like -10$ I think I could see the air inside. Seriously there was one spot on the passanger side that was smooth flat for about 6 inches.

Check some Jeep forums or CL around the area. Get 1 or 2 for the front and get them mounted and balanced Thursday morning. You will be happy you did.

Horsey

Break out a credit card and buy four tires. Every one of these trucks no matter how perfect will cost you when you get it. Tires are an easy fix and it would be really dumb if you were penny wise and pound foolish. Get rid of the shit tires all around and get four new ones before you need tires and a transfer case.

Thanks Barry. I have three nearly new (with one of those brand new) KM1s, so I just thought that two others in similar condition for cheaper than buying a whole new set of tires wouldn't really hurt anything mechanically.

hardly call those steelies, actually that is insulting to genuine steel wheels. Just go buy tires. Buy 5.

Agreed.. If you like steel, I would get a pair of NAS 110 Steelies (130 rims) or a set of Wolf wheels then put some new rubber on them... You are a rover owner now.. break out the credit card and get that thing smoking... Don't be
