WTB:good driver 90

Always wanted a 90. Never owned one. Want a 94-97 D90 that has had the same owner for at least 10 years, has maintained it properly. Just want a good driver.

i would also consider a 2.5NA ninety that has been maintained properly. Of course, lengthy ownership is not a priority with this one.

Moved to wanted.

For sale is for .... Well vehicles actually for sale ... Not wanted ads.

Perhaps you could also introduce yourself rather than your first post being a specific list of requirements?

Hi, Flyboy...welcome to the forum. Keep an eye out in the for sale section. It's a great group of guys and gals here. If you've never owned or been around the 90's, there is a lifetime of education here. Get familiar with the search feature..as just about everything you could want to know about these old trucks is available here.

Again welcome and good luck with your search.
BTW...there is a new member introduction area...you may want to post an introduction over there. Meet the rest of our dysfunctional family.

I live in Northern VA. From TN. Served in the Air Force for 9 years and now work for the Airlines. I've always loved the look of the D90. I casually went into a Land Rover dealership in 1997 in Nashville. Was going to drive and buy a soft top 90. I remember how cool it was. It was 14 degrees that day and I went to start it, the battery and starter were strong. But, it wouldn't start. I thought- wow a new car won't start! So, I walked away and boy to I regret that. I probably would have kept it and maintained it with the intention of keeping it forever. Well, now I am looking for someone who has had one for a long time, done the necessary items to keep it maintained for a lifetime. I want a good driver. High mileage does not bother me, but Letting the head gasket go would. That sort of thing. So, I am patient. I can and will let the right truck come and the right price. Thanks

I've seen 90s that match your criteria listed for sale here. Plus many of us keep our eyes open for Defenders for sale. How far are you willing to travel to get one?

I can travel anywhere in the lower 48 to look at a good car. West coast is a long way to ship though.

Rust falls under "not maintained" category. So, I agree

I hope we don't turn into twits like on Landyzone, demanding an introduction before we treat newbies in a civil manner.
