Skip it...weld on a sewer cap if you're actually going to wheel it. Ferguson Enterprises has them, you need the 8" Pipe Cap #DWCAPX. Then go smash it all you want without fear of reprisal from the diff.

Sigh, I have a quarter sized dent in my front axle, I guess the time is now to get the steel cap.

These look way cheaper, gotta order $100 worth of stuff to buy from them. Guess the series is getting them front and rear too.

These were the most affordable sewer caps I found. About $70-75 shipped for two.
