WTB: Front/bottom pulley for a 1994 D90 (NAS)

Hi, looking to buy ASAP for a front/bottom pulley for a 1994 Defender 90. I just discovered mine is cracked 3-4 inches and is loud. If not please provide the part number so I can purchase one at RN. Thanks.

Assuming you are talking about the tensioner/idler, you can use a Disco one....it just puts the "tension bolt" on the top instead of the bottom. Makes it a little trickier to snug up, but by that I mean maybe adds a few minutes to the job. The plus side is the Disco ones are cheap as chips, whereas the Defender ones (last I saw) were priced into the stratosphere.

I am referring to the bottom front pulley (engine). I believe it's the crankshaft pulley #8?

Are you are looking for the balancer? I was not able to locate a new one a few years back (they are unique to the 3.9), but D&D can refurbish them for you. If the only problem is a seal groove, then a speed sleeve will work (or you can have it hard chromed and ground to size).

I am looking for the big (the bottom) pulley below. Noticed the pulley on mine has a 3-4 inch cracked on the side of the groove where the belt attaches. Can anyone confirm what the pulley is called or have a part number so I can order one from RN. Thanks in advance

Much easier than the balancer. Rovers North lists one (RNM097) for $63...

Thank you. So it was the water pump pulley not the crankshaft pulley?

Hmmm. Your diagram shows a serpentine belt, while my 3.9 has 3 separate belts. Not sure that is the right part for your set up if it is a serpentine.
