Thanks, yes, I thought about buying a whole Disco for the conversion, that might be the way to go.

So the frame mounts are different between the BW and the LT230 as well? Crap, I'm going to need to find/make some too!

Are either of these the mounts? I have a 1.4 tcase, and drive shaft as well but am on the wrong coast.

In my case I don't have the same one for either the tcase or transmission (mine are BW+ZF). I knew about the front DS since the forward housings are a different size.

Sorry for the hijack. You might be able to get what you need from one of the used parts vendors (I like Randy/Pushngo here/British boneyard cheaper than sourcing a whole disco for it.

Jeff this isn't my first rodeo, that was the first thing I did and they are completely different on my truck. Maybe becasuse mine is an LT77?

This is why I decided to just get a whole Disco and convert the RRC to Disco mounts.

I figured with the whole Disco you get the shifter and linkage also. And I need another V8 and zf for a Defender project
