WTB: Defender 90 SW Door Skins (anti-burst style)

I'm getting around to putting the old skins on my door frames, but I thought it would be worth checking to see if anyone has new/replacement skins that I could buy as opposed to refurbing my old skins.

These are the old-style station-wagon door skins with the "lift up" anti-burst latch (not push button style).

Not yet - I received no response to my advertisement.

I sent an email to MM-4x4 UK, which seems to have these listed in an older version of their web site. They have not responded to my email.

When I was rebuilding my 110 doors (1983 split doors), I needed to re-skin the 2nd row doors. RN had a set of skins for a series rig that I was able to adapt. Have you thought about using series skins and then just drill for the door lock?

Thats a thought but I think Ed and I want to use a one piece skin that doesn't have a seam between the upper and lower halves. Part number stc543.

These are available easily from normal suppliers. They are the same as the series 3 doors. New aftermarket doors are really cheap as well.

Britpart number DA2023O and DA2023N

Hey Red,

I need these for a station wagon...I've had a lot of luck finding the two-piece door skins, but not the station wagon door skins.

Does anyone have any good leads on aftermarket doors? I'm considering buying them from rimmer bros but wondering if anyone else has any experience with them: http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID010582
