WTB D90 body parts - Considering a hybrid build.

I am seriously considering a hybrid build.

I will be needing 83-85 or 94-95 D90 (or series if they are the same or close enough!) body parts:

Front Fenders
Hood
Grill
Bulkhead
Windscreen frame
Station Wagon style doors with roll up glass
Rear tailgate
Rear tub (could even build my own as long as i had the cappings and the corners)
Fiberglass hardtop - not too important
Roll bar - not too important as i can build one

Not too worried about floor parts or seat bases as I will need to modify those anyway. Also not real concerned at all about dash or interior parts.

I will be using the D1 frame (shortened) and running gear, with a TDi most likely.

Parts need to be decent, not too trashed but a little "weathering" or "beauty marks" is fine.

Will travel for parts if they are worth it. Cash or trades of all sorts? You name it I may have it.

Doug

Thanks Guys - I may actually have the D1 sold already so my chassis would be going away then!

Any more detail on the body in Mass? I may still be interested.

I know where there is a complete 1984 90 that just needs an engine and trans, and a title.

Email me. I have most of what you need (other than roll cage parts).

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Dave, do tell? Does it not have a legit VIN or what? I could go through the process and get one - but Maine doesn't require Titles if the truck is that old so long as it's a "legit" truck. So long as it's a legit truck I can even have a re-VIN done by the State of Maine.

Thanks Mike - I will do so soon.

The Disco donor truck may be sold, so I am taking it slow right now trying to see what's out there for parts and pieces. I don't want to waste *too* much of anyone's time 'till I have a better handle on what I'm up to.

Thanks so much,
Doug

Well - my donor Disco 1 sold today to a very happy new owner.

I am still very interested in a project.... I have access to another chassis so we'll see.

Dave,

Do you have an idea of what they want? is it assembled? when you say a Title, is it just Titleless or Identityless?

I know someone who wants something like that

Ha ha! Thanks Carey, but I would be looking for a non-OBD2 chassis.

See you soon.
