WTB D2 or P38 RR

Looking for a new project truck, so a clean D2 or P38 RR with a bad motor? high miles? something like that. Email me with what you have, somewhere on the east coast would be best due to shipping costs from out west.
Thanks

I have a feeling that my CJ-7 is probably not what you're looking for :-)

Mike,

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but I have a 99 Disco II with 88k on it, but less than 6k on the engine. I bought it to be my offroad truck, but bought a Defender instead. It's the really base model with none of the stuff that usually gets in the way of offroading. No air suspension, ACE, sunroofs, etc.

It looks brand new under the hood. Let me know if you're interested.

John

Can you imagine the cr*p I would get if I drove a Jeep.

I pulled into the shop once in my Mustang when a customer was waiting to drop off his SIII and I got the "I'm so dissapointed that you aren't driving a Land Rover" speech and that was for driving a 1966 Mustang GT conv... imagine if that was a CJ.

Ron,
I like your rig, but the truck is for my wife and she likes a stock look.
I got your email though. Have your buddy send me info on his truck... that sounds like the ticket.

Thanks,
Mike, ECR

You might also consider a salvage auto auction like Insurance Auto Auctions and look for a recovered theft vehicle. Sometimes an insurance company will total a theft recovery for liability purposes and sell on a salvage title, but some choose to sell on a clean title because they can get more for it at auction. Often no damage at all, or just a busted steering column/ignition switch.

No time to drive around to auctions.
Just want to find one and buy it.
