WTB Complete Rear End

I looking for a complete rear end to build a trailer with. I have a 97 d-90 and would like to keep the rears the same. That way I broke down I would have spare parts.

Since a D90 and Disco 1 are close enough to the same try www.car-parts.com you will find them in the 150-200 dollar range and local to you.

Let me know what you need exactly. Whe I built a trailer I would just use the hubs out and tube axel but I have a complete housing if you want My trucks are located in the Hershey E town area

Dana,
Ecology and Pick your parts (down by browns field in Chula) have Discovery 1s coming through the yards right now. it might be a cheaper way to go to run down and grab one from the yard. The down side is if you call them, they won't tell you what is in their inventory. At least you could grab an axle. Dennis Yard of the SDLRC built a trailer too if you want to pick his brain on the parts.

Whats the plan? Run a complete axle and use it to keep a spare diff and shafts as well? Sounds like a heavy combo. I'd love to make a trailer out of the rear tub of a rover, but was thinking a whole axle housing (not even with diffs and axles) is too heavy.

I've got a tub, lights, etc, as well as axle, but I agree, why a full axle? Just do the hubs on a lighter unit, my unsolicitted 2 cents....
