Arrow WTB: Brownchurch Roof Rack for LR3

This Thanksgiving proved that a wife, a small kid, and two dogs makes everything a little "cozy" during holiday road trips; even for the LR3. Looking to move some luggage on top of the roof. Let me know what you have- new or used.

Thanks,

Ross

I totally missed the deal of the century a week ago. Someone had the factory LR3 rack (which is NLA) on craigslist for $100, and when I finally decided to call I couldn't find the posting anymore.

I hope your search for a rack goes better.

Bump.

Wow... I feel your pain.

That WAS the deal of the century.

I had the Brownchurch a few years back on my LR3- seems it was from AB or RN. However, I sold it and went to the Baja which was quieter and a larger platform at the same time.

Roof Rack

I've seen a couple of Voyager Roof racks on an the LR3 and LR4 at the dealership in Tampa. They look realy good. I don't know your price range but it might be worth looking into.

Baja and Voyager look to be great options, and I'd be interested in these models for the right price. That said, I only intent to use the rack when needed, so the smaller Brownchurch half-rack is desirable for storage reasons.

Let me know what you have…

rack

They also have a half rack.
Or try the Factory LR crossbars and get a Thule basket/rack that will hold a soft side cargo carrier. I think Thule makes one kind of like the Yakima Load Warrior.
Just a thouht since you don't plan on using it much and it sounds like you may want to take it off when not in use.

Deleted. Wonder why the app through up this year's old posting today...
