If you want black wingtop protectors it's just as easy (and IMHO better) to paint the aluminum ones. The finish looks better longer with the paint and can easily be touched up. The black anodized wingtop protectors fade in the sun into a purple color eventually anyway.
I installed painted black protectors with nutserts so I could easily remove and repaint them if necessary.
Worked great!
