WTB '97 Defender Engine

I'm looking for the front end of a '97 D90 Defender Engine to replace my multi belt engine in my '93 3.9L V8 110. Please email if you have one for sale. Guessing my best bet will be off a salvage '97 D90. Thanks, Eric

Taylor from Rovers North is thinking we'll upgrade the 3.9 V8 with 89K miles on it to a 4.6L and rebuild with the '97 belt system for reliability… Feel free to email me at e.stockmann@mac.com. Thanks, Eric

HAVE DONE SEVERAL.

You will need a 1995 rrc or 1994-95 d1 Serp set up... The front cover is designed for a distributor.
1997 90's were set up for a coil pack.

I also found you have to swap the ps pump to a d1 style, alt to a d1 style and all brackets/pulleys. You will need new oil cooler lines and rad hoses.. You will also need a new fan clutch/shroud.
You will really enjoy it once completed.

It's so nice to run into someone who's done this before. Can you give Taylor a ring at his shop (802)879-0200 and discuss the exact parts when you have a chance? If you guys can make it work out I'll get you funding for the stuff we need via paypal or your choosing. Thanks again for the quick response, I'm really looking forward to making this '93 110 (#143) a great usable truck to spend some time in the backcountry.
Sincerely, Eric

Taylor said he didn't get a call today... Just wanted to check in. No worries if you're busy... Just wanted to touch base. Sincerely, Eric
