wtb - 94 to 97 D90

My wife has lost it and told me to get a d90 and stop talking about them. I am looking for a 94 to 97 d90 with high high miles. Softtop, full rollcage, back seat and ac are the like to haves. Preferred Colors in order - white, blue, green, black or red. Drivable and needing a little work ok. I like to work on vehicles. I am located in Raleigh, NC. Price between 10k and 19k. I would like to drive it daily. The closer to Raleigh the better however I can and will get on a plane to pick this bad boy up.

Thanks for any info,

Uzj100 - good luck. See to be plenty out there. I have a nice truck in Wilmington I would part with but it's only got 60k on the clock, is in near perfect shape and would go for well more than 19k. Let me know if your parameters change.

Michael

Jonathan Tisdale's (WhiteD90) truck is right up your alley. Its got 150k+ but its a good starter Defender for someone who like to work on cars, plus its the only 97 i know for under 20 thou.

I second what Jim C just said. I can vouch for the truck too! Great D that needs just a little tlc...but needs nothing to prevent it from being a Daily Driver...I would check it out as you wont find another 97 with such a low price. Drives great, sounds great, solid solid truck....

Follow-up Post:

I can also vouch for Tis, he is a stand up guy and wouldnt misrepresent himself or the truck!!!

Search the vehicle for sale section here. I believe I saw it there not to long ago. If you cant find it there I also saw it posted at http://www.landroverexchange.com/listings/. The truck is in Augusta Georgia.

Crap, 3 months ago, I would have traded you a soft top setup for the roof no problem, unfortunately, my ST is on a boat to Russia!

Holy Shit Tis's D90 Was Converted To A Soft Top Last Summer By Me. Then Sold To Mightybone Then To Tis. I Think He's At 18500 Now. A True Steel For That Truck. I Drove It All Summer And Had Zero Problems. New Brakes And Tires! Clean Clean Truck And At A Smokin Price. Borla Exhaust And Smooth Ride. Took Me A Couple Hrs To Make It Top Less.

All of them do, but it is only the hoop behind the drivers seats. It is not the standard padded Soft top roll cage. But, you can get them and have the best of both worlds. ST in the summer and SW in the winter.

Or buy two.
