WTB 94,95,-97 ST NAS interior light trim plate

I am looking for the 6 inch finisher section the little inside light fits inside of up between the two larger finishers the sun visors mount to. I'd normally call it a headliner part but as its only 3 inches wide its more of a finisher..

Thanks in advance!! email me please.... I need it....

looks like most of the usual suspects in the UK have the part...

AWR1546LNF | Panel - Trim - Land Rover Part AWR1546LNF

you can also check with Justin @ Lucky8

LR direct justs lists the item with the stock status of "subject to LR stock", which Land Rover has long listed as obsolete.

These are the pieces that many companies have talked about reproducing, but I have yet to see anything come to fruition.

Thanks yes They are NLA and the 94 apparently has a different part number and the part number I used above is for 95-97 which is what I need.

Anyone have one they want to get rid of?

That's strange. Looks unfinished. U wish someone would reproduce these. Can't be too difficult. I would buy 2 sets.

Brian Kandefer had talked about doing it, as well as another company in Massachusetts. As far as I've seen, nothing has been produced. It seems like a great product idea.

Great Idea. There is a makerbot store nearby to me. I will check it out tomorrow and let everyone know. They do high end 3d printing for a nominal fee in the hope you'll shell out the $30k for the machine.

So I spoke with maker bot and they can make them for about $30 each! But I have to get them a 3d scan of one. Any chance someone has a 3d scanner at work?

N.A.S. Soft Top trim parts

Hello Patrick,

It seems a lot of soft top (ST) owners would like to purchase a set. I have spent a crazy amount of time on this project to find the three parts; BTR9810 (RHS), BTR8513 (LHS) and BTR9811 (Centre). During my research, I have also learned that the parts above from the U.K. are covered in vinyl wrap. The N.A.S. trim pieces were bare plastic. All seem like they are unavailable from anywhere in the world.

I believe because the trim parts must be removed each time you change from soft top to hard top, some prior owners either damaged or just left them off. Although I have found different part numbers for the 94 vs. 97 they are the same parts or would work. Okay so to go forward what's next?

1.) Get a set from someone to copy. All of my buddies have hard top versions or SW, the parts we are looking for are (to my knowledge) only ST and N.A.S. Anyone know of a set or someone willing to loan them? From this I believe a company in the U.S. could make them. They are thin plastic but do have some complex curves.
2.) Possibility investigate the parts from a U.K. SVX S.T. Yes, it's different but could be an option.

If anyone has any other idea please let me know. Thanks, Lar

I was working with a buddy that makes prosthetics, long story short he has my set and has since gone MIA... He made three sets before he disappeared. 94 are different then the 95/97's. The 94's are wrapped with vinyl, while the 95/97's are injected molded. Anyway I haven't talked to him since Christmas and he has my originals and all the copies. Good luck, if anyone has questions I have gone through the process and it was fairly simple. Production was the issue, bc it isn't worth making a bunch of molds because of the limited markets

OK so I have some good news to report on the trim pieces. For $350 per piece an aeronautical engineering company with a really really good 3d scanner and "touch up" software will scan and give me a makerbot printable file. Makerbot will charge about $30.00 for the center bit and about $60.00 per side piece.

I am most likely going to have the scan done for my center piece only. At which time I will be offering them for sale in an unlimited quantity unlimited supply. How many people might be interested in a center piece?

I might even go thru kickstarter for this as well as I will be looking to recoup my costs but not make anything.
