Thumbs up WTB: 4.7 Rover 24-spline diff with locker & 24-spline axles

Hello,

My 1971 IIA 109 Station Wagon has the stock smaller sized axle tube with the 10-spline axles and 2-pin diff. I know it's easy to swap in a Salisbury, but I don't want to run a Salisbury rear end. I just want to replace the third member with either an ARB or a TrueTrac 4.7 ratio with 24-spline and retain my stock axle tube. I will also need a set of 24-spline axles with drive flanges to go with this. I might end up pinching pennies for awhile and getting these from GBR, but it would sure be nice to score a deal on a good used setup. Please just PM me if you have something. Thank you

Hey, I've had a very good experience with my GBR third members. Bill has been a great source of information over the years, post purchase. I'm at about 110-115k miles with no problems. Detroit rear and TT in the front.

Good to know! I had emailed Bill some time back with just some questions and I got that same vibe... quality guy through and through. It'll probably pay off to just save up and pony-up for new GBR kit...

Yep, Diffs are just one of those components that makes sense to me to try and do it right the first time. Takes me 4 hours to remove and replace and downtime can be crucial. Savings would have to be significant. Gbr is know for standing by their products afaik.
