WTB - 200tdi head

Looks like my head has a leaking in the exhaust port, that cant easily be welded.

The only requirements now are that its in good shape with no leaks.

In case you do not know, new 200TDI heads have not been available for quite awhile. As they do tend to crack, good used heads are horded like gold and sell for silly prices. You might be lucky and find one cheapish, but make sure it has been properly checked.

You can change to a 300TDI head, which are still being made and sold new. There are extra costs as you need to get a 300TDI rocker assembly and injectors. Technically speaking, you should also change the pistons, but people are not reporting problems when using the 200TDI pistons.

I'm inclined to keep it, but anyone got an idea of a fair price?

Turner has stopped supplying them outright.
They charge 325 to rework them.
My local machine work on the last one we did was $449.

Since they are getting as scarce as rocking horse manure, it's hard to say, but the prices keep going up on them.
There is a new one on eBay UK for 925.00

I would call Turner and ask what one goes for. Look on eBay uk and see if any are available. Just a couple of non bias sources. I do know this , you got that Turner head on a steal. I wanted that so bad.

Dam, you're a terrible low baller!
You can have mine cheaper than that.
It's not complete, I need some of it to build my turner head.
