Why don't you import something (or buy a cheap import) and rebuild it or buy a challenged NAS D90 cheap and stretch it to a 110? I mean to make it ECR good would take a ton of time and money, but to get it to the level of any sub-50k NAS 110 would not be too bad and if anyone has the parts and resources, it is you.

I always liked this one you guys did back in the dawn of time. http://www.eastcoastrover.com/NASstyle3door.html

for me its a time thing. I can fix a 110, but can't really get the time to build one up.

I've always wanted a demonstrator truck, something slick to pick people up at the airport etc etc., and I've built a couple, but as soon as I finish them someone offers me a price I can't say no to, and these days I have no time for doing that anymore.

Sadly the company does OK, but we aren't in a position to buy all the parts for a resto/rebuild and then not have that money come back into the account for payroll and such when the truck sells.

More than I paid for my house.

When I said I was looking for a 110 to buy, I didn't mean I wanted one we already restored for a customer.

Just run 145 as a gasser. I'd rather see it get miles than sit.

Not everyone is lucky enough to pay 30k for a rust bucket like JimC. Some are luck enough to pay not much more for one of the cleanest, unmolested original trucks Mike has ever seen. Its hard not hate a little bit on Zimm since his profit margin probably could have bought my rust bucket

Found my NAS 110.
Gotta go fetch it soon, but already have big plans for it that include a "big cat" under the hood.

Whoa, a PUMA, nice. But I thought your plan was to get a stocker so you wouldn't have to do any work on it?

LRED-land rover enthusiast disease. Also known as:
MAWS-might as well syndrome....Sadly there's no cure, only quick fixes. Well not so quick for some of us.

Mike, please post pics of the kitty under the hood when you're done. Would love to see what you would do to your own private truck.

The "driver" 110s I looked at were all shit and the people thought they were worth the moon.
The ones that I considered "drivers" were priced too high for me.
So the only option left was buy a crap one on rebuild.
