WTB 110 SW rear floor

Hi Guys,

I am looking for the rear floor section for a 110 SW, it runs from under the rear seats all the way to the back door. Condition is not very important as long as its better than what you see below.

I am located in NJ, here is a pictures of what I need...

PM or email me kmcsharry at meridiantl.com

Thnaks
Kevin

When I did my 110 I had a steel supplier bend the z shape for me out of some sheets of aluminum then reinforced the back with 1" x 1" square steel tube. I fabricated the triangular end pieces myself. It wasn't too hard. Plus you can make an access hole for your fuel pump.

I too fabbed up a new floor out of .125" aluminum with 1" aluminum reinforcements tigged to the floor. The access hole is a great idea!

I think I used a 1/16" thick foam tape and alum rivets. I realize there's still a bit of dissimilar metal contact but hey it's a Defender. It like that kind if thing

Two ways of going about this.
1. Go to a sheet metal fabricator or large metal fabricator. Just bring in your old piece so they have something to work off of. Thats what I did for my 109 SW back in 06, came to around $400-$500.
2. Buy the whole kit from YRM. I think the shop down in Georgia is now selling their stuff.

If you dont want to use the stiffeners that go from front to back you can just roll a bead(?) instead and have the same amount of stiffness.

One Ten,

That new floor looks great!!

I actually gave my old floor to a fabricator......2 years ago....i guess its time to call him maybe its done.

You have dimensions by any chance?

I think I could probably fab it myself if I had the dims.

What is the place in Georgia that sells parts?

Thanks
Kevin
