Wtb 110

Tired of looking.... I'm interested in a 110 four door.

Live in Dallas but more than willing to travel. I'd like a LHD diesel but will consider any 110 four door.

Budgeting around 20k.

Have a 1993 Cobra 600hp with 37k miles collecting dust in Virginia that will also trade towards the right truck.

The LHD teal one is a smoking deal at $12.5k

A 200tdi would be cheap enough and it could be really nice under 20k.

In my opinion 20K won't quite get you there (110 LHD TDI SW) - or will have work needing done.

Budget should to be at least 30K - either up front or in parts and a project.

Funny how the prices on ready-to-roll Tithonus trucks went through the roof when the stock ran out.

Nothing funny about it. It's called supply and demand.

Agreed. Once you get into them, the $$ adds up quickly...

Here's mine in case you receive a windfall:

Where are you seeing prices through the roof?

For sale Vehicles section. As stated above a few times there are a few posted there within your budget.

Thanks for the plug Dro. I've got three really nice originals, two 3.5s and one 2.5 diesel, but unfortunately none near in that price range. That is a very tough price point for a non-project 110.

Just so everyone is on the same page. I've never stated anything other than I wanted a 110 station wagon. Preference is diesel LHD. I've budgeted around 20k to purchase this vehicle.

I appreciate all the help so far just think there may be some confusion about what I'm looking for. Sorry if I offended anyone for not buying trucks that are 50 to 100% more than what I'm looking to spend.

No offense on this end. IMO buying a $20k 110 project is a risk. When the cost of borrowing money is so cheap I just don't see how saving $8-10k on price is worth taking the risk of what you are likely to get for $20k delivered stateside.

Hate to sound like an asshat...

But, you'll never find that truck in the US. $20k is unrealistic.

If you do find one, you'll have to probably dump another $10k to get it up to speed.

I picked mine up in the low teens for a 5 door with a petrol motor. It's a good solid 110 but I figure I will dump the purchase price back into it to get it close to where I want it.

I just finished putting a motor in it...
