It seems like paint would be one of the easier things to fix, assuming you don't have 32 layers of paint.

except the paint is on the inside too. So you have to paint that. Fortunately they don't have things like door cards, headliners, or carpet to get in the way. At least on mine. I guess the fancier ones were outfitted for cold weather and have interiors of some sort.

I had a blast hunting for both my Defenders, researching, looking at ads, poking around trucks, talking to people about their trucks and trying to find the right one for me. The hunt, for me, was like being 8 years old again and looking at Christmas presents under the tree that you can't open yet. Now that I have my perfect truck, I feel a little empty.

I guess what I.m trying to say (without being an ass) is if looking for a Defender is a tiresome chore just maybe this isn't the right type of Rover for you. Because if you think looking for one is tiresome wait till you start throwing money at it to get it to roll down the road under its own power - that will really wear you out. Just my .02 cents.

Sand would be rad - especially with black accents. One of my mtn bikes I had powdered in desert - love that color.

I thought that people were saying in that other thread the paint on MoD rigs was a royal pain in the ass to strip.

I've already started getting quotes from paint shops. I don't plan on doing it myself. Plus I believe the Tithonus only has one layer of paint so it should be doable.

One layer of paint ... ? you wish .... hahaha.

We stripped 3 LHD Tithonus 110's last month, all going through paint now, need lots of preparation to get a real nice finish. Results here later next month.

For those who cannot wait, keep an eye on our homepage www.riverhousemini.com. Inventory listed in STOCKLIST section.

British army is well known for making "generous" use of paint.

Problem solved. Ocean freight, taxes, brokers fees and domestic transport extra?

Hi Clay, trust all is well with you ?

I am asking around $ 16000 for each truck, plus $ 1850 for ocean freight, $ 2500 for handling, port collection in NY or Baltimore, ISF filing, custom brokerage, THC.

Your Red 110 on EBAY looks super nice, you did a great job !!!

My best, Michael

Thanks Mike. Yep, all going pretty well. Got back from Tanzania last week. Kilimanjaro was amazing. I see you are busy. You have some great looking trucks.
