Good suggestion. These are mainly made to keep water and or snow from piling on top of the vent. The ones I make have a nice wide opening and should not restrict any airflow.

Good Luck...I've been trying to find a few for two years. The company that made them isn't around....thinking of making a variation within the next 6 months.
