Winch bumper/brush bar.

Anyone looking to get rid of an ARB, Safari Gard, or Rockware?

No but that's a wide range of bumpers. I've seen and run all of them and if you want quality and something that is hella stout the only choice is RockWare.

if you get a Rockware think about how you want to mount your aux lamps. That light bar really puts your lights in a dangerous location

Yeah it is. I just can't decide so I figured if someone was selling one of these at a good price that, would make my decision for me.

Would you mind clarifying? I'm in the same boat as Dennis. To me, they all seem to be great bumpers and I don't plan on running a winch now, but maybe in the future. I would definitely like to fit at least two Hella lights. I like the (assuming this is a custom wrap around) bumper on Joe's truck! Is that a ARB bumper with the wrap around???

A dangerous location? Not sure what the heck that means but anyhow...

In fact, the background of the page you're on now shows a D90 with a RockWare front bumper complete with a light bar! Tubular steel that leaves the rest of the Rover jealous.

The light bar puts your lights way out in front of the truck in harms way. I ran into a tree the last time out and nearly tore the light off, had the light have been bolted down extremely tight i think it would have broken it. I like the bumper a lot however I think a little more consideration could be made for aux light mounts. Ill take a photo this evening.

re-Rock Ware bumper

The one he made for me doesn't have the bar, but tabs off of the front plate that the fairlead bolts thru.
The light are still out front but a little more protected. Rock Ware is the ultimate bumper- ARB on my other truck is crap in comparison. At MAR a couple of weeks ago everytime I saw a custom piece that I realy liked it was (you guessed it) Rock Ware.

Hmm, well i've blasted through weeds, briar, saplings, mud, water and just about everything else and have had no trouble with my lights. Of course I'm running LightForce, which are just about bulletproof. I can't really see how any other bumper offers more protection though.
