Wanted: Vacuum Hose(s)

Stupid questions time.

If anyone bought a few extra yards of hose for the vacuum advance hose and doesn't mind shipping it, let me know. I went to a couple of hardware stores here and they didn't have what I was looking for. Will keep looking if no one has one, but let me know. Seems stupid to pay $20 for something with absolutely no technology built into it.

Part RTC3942

Also, I see on the RN site that some engines have a delay valve installed in-line on the vacuum advance hose between the plenum and the distributor. Was that only a RRC thing?

Part ERC6997

DELAY VALVE DISTRIBUTOR VACUUM 3.5/3.9L

Lastly do you guys usually just go genuine when replacing the other hoses, like the one going to the IACV, or do you just buy those from hardware stores as well?

Part ETC7874

HOSE IACV BYPASS PLENUM-STEPPER MOTOR HOUSING 3.9/4.0L V-8

Just just pull the hose off the engine and just do a side by side comparison to the hoses that the auto supply store has, easy as that. If you cant get to your truck for that then there might be measurements in the parts catalogue next to the part number. (Am I wrong on this?)

I think so. It starts now but it's still not running right.

I went to both Pep Boys and Auto Zone and they had vacuum hoses but nothing that fit properly. They were both out of stock of the hoses between the too-small and the too-large hoses.

Here is what it looks like if this help, Jeff. They couldn't measure it for me and I couldn't locate my caliper measurer.
