My TL LED headlamps just arrived from eBay seller randjautomotive. Will post pictures once I get them on the LWB.

Thanks for that link John. It seems that the Chinese (no brand listed) were favored. That's interesting. Anyone know the brand he is referring to on the first two models?

Just ordered one as well. Thank you guys. By the way I am planning to convert the rest of lights to LED for my 97 SW, is it plug and play? does it need any special wiring? what are your thoughts on Clear or standard color on Arles Blue? I saw a kit from BP around $270.00 and clear kit from RN for $570. any other sources? Thank you

Partially installed

Ok, I finally installed the DS LEDs. The TLs are super bright and I bought LED driving lights from superbright LEDs that are similar in size with the stock Wipacs. Haven't tightened or adjusted the beam yet, but too excited to try them out. Here are some crappy iPhone pics... will get better pictures soon. Overall, I'm happy with them.

Any more feedback Glenn? Did you get them adjusted and tested out?

Matt, unfortunately I haven't been able to install the passenger side... been crazy at work lately and truck had been sitting as garage candy.

I can already tell they will be as bright (if not brighter) as my HIDs on my L322, which are really bright to begin with!

The soonest I can wrap this up and test is this weekend and I will post back and update this thread.

I just installed a set on a customers, and after doing one we lit them up against a wall, boy, what a difference, you can really see why they used the word candlepower to refer to the older lights... The trucklites have a crisp white light and a really nice cutoff pattern and high beam is super bright..the old light is a very dull yellow by comparison..since I used my set on the customers car now I have to order a couple of more sets for builds..and my own trucks..

Are you seeing the "patchy patterns" described in the previous review link from the guy down under? I have heard a few mention the light patters can be spotty. I am anxious to see if you guys notice this. I am ready to pull the trigger on a set.

Haven't seen a ying yet... But at the price of $330 and a couple of minutes to install and given the much better light in my mind you'd be crazy not to install them..

AMEN!

Picture 3 of 4 above is a great comparison of the candle-power vs daylight!

We did a comparison of Truck light to KC and noticed the TL definitely has its low beam issues . It's great value for the money but misses the mark a bit on lifted rigs . If it's mounted around 24"s from the ground you don't notice the patchy . We have removed two sets and replaced with KCs because of this issue on lifted or taller rigs .

KC on the left TL on the right hard to see on the door but I couldn't find my street comparison photos .
We do a little night driving up this way.

Jeff, driving lights came from superbrightleds.com. Same size as the stock ones, but crazy amount of light.

The rad was done by PO. I'll be honest, since I bought this truck back in Oct of last year, haven't really tinkered with it much and only driven it ~ 700 miles.

Maybe it's a flux capacitor? LOL

Seriously, I'll look and report back.

Those are fake Speaker Evolutions.
I was in a Bronco shop in California a few weeks ago and the guy was going on about how horrible they are and how the seal is no good so they fill with water.

Real Speaker lights:

JW Speaker Part 0549701 - 8700 Evolution 2 LED Headlight - Fits 1997 to 2015 Wrangler, Rubicon and Unlimited - 4 Wheel Drive

Although they are double the price, the Speaker lights win all of the side by side comparisons on the UK forums.

If it is of interest, this is what Land Rover is offering as an option this year (Nolden lights):

Purchased a set of Truck-Lites from LevineAutomotive (eBay - $331 shipped) on Monday and they arrived yesterday. Wish all eBay purchases were that fast.

Well, that'll make it faster than my LWB!

I guess it must be some kind of transmission cooler...

Finally got around to installing both TL headlamps. Aesthetic-wise, they're not too far off from the stock units, other than the more flatter face vs the convex face of the stock units. Functionality-wise, these are indeed 1000 times better. I will take more pics tonight and see if I can adjust it some more. I need a flat-wall on level-ground. My driveway is on an incline so that's tough to do.

I also attempted to install the LED driving lights I bought from superbrightleds.com but I managed to strip the bolt on the passenger side so that'll have to be dremmel'd and cut out. I also attached a pic of the uninstalled driving light... same dimensions as the stock ones, only shallower so some mod of the front spoiler is necessary.

Damn, this LED stuff is addicting... I also installed LED backup lights and they are freakishly bright, even during the day!

PS - Jeff, the radiator thingy is indeed a trans cooler.

***Crap, sorry for the pics... I don't know why they're upside down.

Photos are upside down because you took them on an iPhone and uploaded them from a PC.
