Wanted: Stock Tires

Hi,

I'm looking for set of 265/75/R16 tires. I think Michelin LTX A/T and BFG A/T are good but I am open to suggestions. I drive my D90 mostly on the road so I dont need very aggressive tires. Please contact me if you have any available.

Thanks,
Eric

Eric,

I have 5 of the stock tires from my 97 ST. BFG A/T 265/75 -- plenty of life left in them. One with no miles, the other 4 have 27,000 on them. Let me know if you are interested and I will post pics. I live in Santa Monica.

Paul

Lightbulb Pics of STOCK TIRES

Here are the pics. First two photos are of the spare.... I couldnt find any loose change to demonstrate the tread depth, but I will look for a ruler this evening and try to give you an accurate measurement of the amount of wear. Let me know if you need any other pics, or if you want me to email you larger files.

Would like to sell all 5 for $225.00.

If you are interested, would you be able to do local pickup in Santa Monica?

I am a bit uncertain how to ship them and of the additional cost involved to do so.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Yes I am still interested. Were you able to measure the tread on the tires? Also, what would be the cheapest way to ship these tires?

Thx,
Eric

Tread Depth

My measurements indicate the spare's (unused) tread is 0.5" ...... A randomly chosen tire that has been in use is .375"--so that's 75% of the original tread. Granted, I dont have a tread depth gauge, so I cant be quite that precise, but this photo is a good indicator that there is good tread on the tires.

Shipping:
I'm not sure the cost, or how they need to be packaged, but the general consensus is about $20-25 a tire shipped ground, so about $125.00

If you give me you shipping address I will get a precise quote.
