^^ x100 ^^

What Ron said.

I'm not that tall but it's great having the extra back seat legroom.

AND, those with carseats will tell you.... the little buggers CAN'T kick the back of the front seats when they're in the LWB...

I am very open to LWB. I am on a budget so finding a Southwest truck is tough because of the extra ticket for the ride to VA. I was hoping to find a rig with lower than usual rust on the east coast and put that money into fixing it up, as I want a "project" I can drive and enjoy. I am confident if I lived out west I'd already have one. Frickin' salt belt roads.
I may just keep saving and hold out for one outside of the "project" price range.

They can't kick the back of the seats in the SWB because I pinch their legs between my seat and theirs

You can't fit two rear facing car seats in a SWB. Rear middle seat is the only place a rear car seat fits, so take that into consideration.

Depends on the car seat model really. The room in the SWB is no different than a Discovery. Our Britax rear facing fits.

Saw a gorgeous lwb '95 beluga RRC the other day in Vancouver, Canada. I thought of you. Nice guy too. He said he "wouldn't consider selling it as long as he was breathing!" He had installed an RPI 4.6 with the tornado chipset to boot! Really sweet ride. I'll keep my eyes open.

Here are a couple in the northeast. Not mine, just a couple I noticed the other day.

Thinking about this one myself

Not a project but sounds nice (LWB)

You should get it! The last listed"non-project" one. "It's so choice!" Best color combo for a RRC imho. I love the description on CL where it states: "condition: new" ;-)

I've got a '93 RRC LWB that I'd like to sell. I'll never get to it. Black on brown. Not good paint but it's probably +95% rust free.

I agree Bill. Some of the prices I've seen are crazy. I've probably looked at every RRC for sale on Craigslist and only a couple seemed to have been priced right and sold quickly. Overall are the values of these inflated? Seems like everyone is trying to flip making it hard to find a good one to just have fun with.

With each passing year, they become harder and harder to find, but they are out there. The real issue is how important is it to have a RRC project truck for this winter, or perhaps. you may want to consider a D1? I haven't listed my LWB yet, so you know that one is out there...

Matt - here's a 90 with 220K in NC. He's started to part the truck, but only wants $450 for the whole truck

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Range-Rover-...-/221591446662

definitely a project...current listing says it needs ABS pump, but he may have sold other parts already.

Could use a few things but passable I.e paint, seats, detailing but biggest is a tranny, PO said engine was rebuilt with only 12k...take basically what I'm in it $1500 to move it for forum members only. Pics and deets on request

Thanks for all the continual help and leads. I have looked a quite a few RRC's, made two offers, and learned a lot along the way, but nothing in the driveway yet so still looking. I scour Craigslist everyday so eventually one will work out. Any leads please PM!
Thanks in Advance

This is just me, but I find that a truck that needs footwells has so much other bad going on that it is just beyond worth repairing.
