Wanted: Heater box

The blower for my 110 went out, and it will be a bit before I can get a newer style A/C box in there. I wanted to know if anybody had a serviceable heater box for sale to get me through winter.

Thanks in advance.

Good lord, you are still without one! I have one, but I'm not really in the right part of the world. There must be someone around there.

Are you sure the blower is truly dead? Have you made sure it is free? It has power and ground?

Well, the blower motor itself is good, but the whole housing is full of cracks (it is all plastic and fiberglass). The blower fan has been repaired (and failed again) with epoxy a couple of times already. I really just want a regular old heater for winter. If I have time I will make an even better AC/Heater box and install it later.

Daniel,
You have the early in dash a/c setup like a NAS 110 ? Many of those parts are nla. Best to get the part number and start shopping that way. Small chance of finding a decent one used here.

I got three NAS 110 heater/AC units here in various conditions. What do you need again? Someone paid me $800 for my best one (I had four, don't ask!). Here is what I would do, go to the build threads and find the one with the retrofit summit heater. That looks like the best way forward.

I guess I am probably just going to try to fix the one I have. The plastic on it is just so friggen brittle (especially in cold weather).

RDS has two of the parts I need. I would like to also get the plastic part that the blower goes into. Not the bracket, but the part that directs the air. Otherwise I think I will be trying out my fiberglassing skills.

The thing that goes to the vent on the fender? Just duct tape and glue it together.

Piece 4 is what I want.

RDS has pieces 2 and 3.

Speaking of that, do I need that, or can I use a suction out of the fender top (like 99% of all rovers)?
