Wanted- Great driveway mechanic in exchange for custom beer brewing

I am looking for a Rover gear head in the area who can help me or, better yet, do for me an oil pump inspection and possible repair/replacement and any other engine. I'm not a noob but I must admit looking up at the bottom of the 3.9L V8 with 17 years of road use gives me reason to pause, especially in a driveway and no garage.

What I can offer in exchange for this is 5 Gallons of your choice/desire of hand crafted beer. I have a 15 gallon All Grain brewery with pressure and temperature controlled fermentation and natural carbonation. For locals in the area I have a Helles Boch lager and a Check inspired Pilsner on tap right now, and 10 gallons of Octoberfest cranking away. My next one planned is a 7% Black Lager that will make you never want to drink Guinness again These are not your ordinary plastic bucket home brews. This rig is the real deal. Come by in your Rover(required) so I can sample your work and I'll pour you a cold one so you can sample my work.

I have all the grain, hops, yeast, and necessary water adjustments to make any beer, except Bud,Miller,Coors type beers. I'm not a beer snob however I'm not a beer whore either.

The offer is out. I'll be brewing my next batch mid November which is when my Octoberfest will be ready to sample. it will either be the Dark Side of the Force Lager, or it could be your craft brew.

I figure someone will take me up on this in the area. I've had my beers critiqued by the brewers at Dogfishhead, Smuttynose, and Allagash who all said they would order my beer at a bar. At some point in the future I would like to get up to a small 5-7 barrell brewery built in the area.

Nice. I'm off exit 109 and I do have a pretty impressive wine cellar with some bottles I could possibly part with, but would prefer to drink with.

I can offer a beer to wine conversion service on favorable terms if your Black Ale is as good as claimed.

The "Dark Side of the Force" lager is sick! I made 10 gallons of the wort and split 5 gal using a California ale yeast and 5 gla using a bavarian lager. The lager wins hands down.

Josh, where are you in Hoboqueno? I lived there for about 10 years before we headed south.

I actually emailed a LR mechanic, who might help.

Josh will be able to assist with the beer drinking. Only.

I live in NYC now, but my Defender lives in Hoboken a few blocks from the PATH. I can definitely help with beer drinking, I thought that's what we were talking about here.

Love the enthusiasm, just too many drinking pals and not enough wrench turners lol.

Just stumbled on the thread. Matt - if you need a hand on little items let me know. I'm close-by. I haven't done an oil pump but have done various small things. Just wrapping up doing some seals on the LT230 and some interior fixes. Unfortunately my timing is backwards from everyone else - usually free during the day but crazy busy as soon as the kids get home. Weekends are nutso too with fall sports.
