Wanted - Drums/parts off of 110s

I need three sets of drums from 110s, including backing plates, shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, etc. These parts are generally leftovers from a 110 rear disc conversions so if you have one set, send me a PM. I need one set for my LR project and two sets for my car trailer (it runs custom LR axles).

Thanks!

JL

Jonathan aka Wolf just converted his rear to discs. Hit him up. Sent Keith @ RovingTracks that salisbury you wanted to strip. Pretty sure he converted that to discs as well-there's a second set.

ROFL!!!

I literally just took all that stuff to the dump! Drums, backing plates, good pads and wheel cylinders too. . Figured no sane person would want them.

Hey, it's OK. I don't need this stuff right now, it's more of a long term type of thing. Anyone else, just shoot me a PM.

Isn't 109 rear Sals stuff the same? ( I just pirated a bunch of 109 bit's to *fix* an old 110) this was yesterday and it looked like the same bits to me but I havent installed them yet. If so that might open up the field a bit.

I was hoping that the Defender stuff would be in better shape and usable as-is, but will take Series stuff if anyone has some leftovers.

I have one set minus a backing plate. You're welcome to it. Do you want the old drum hubs too?

What are you using for a surge controller? I considered this for my trailer which has a D90 axle but have pretty much convinced myself to go electric instead.

I don't need the hubs, just the drums, backing plates, shoes, springs and wheel cyls. The trailer runs series hubs so I have no use for the 110 hubs. Grnrvrs I am going to send you a PM, thanks. All the others, keep me in mind and don't toss that stuff.

Charles, I use a 14K capacity surge brake master on an 18 foot tandem trailer. I don't know if I would recommend surge brakes for an off-road trailer because the brakes do not work in reverse. I've gotten myself in some pretty precarious positions with this thing because of that fact. Then again, they are pretty much trouble free (until you rip off a brake line) and they modulate well. I tow on some very rough roads and I've always felt that the surge brakes work very well. Maybe on a light trailer it would work OK.

I'm bumping my own thread a few years after. I am after another set of 110 drums, backing places, wheel cyls, springs, etc. Anyone who has pulled these off for a disc conversion would have the stuff I need. Thanks...
