Wanted: Defender accelerator pedal assembly

Sorting out my carb and throttle issues on my Series.. I would like to go with a Defender assembly

No fitzky, unless you wish to dismantle it and bend it all different.
Do tell, what issues are you having that the rod linkage cannot work with? I have the original rod linkage on my 200 tdi. Had to make 2 new rods, but that was it.

Looks like it could work for me... I am real talented with blunt objects and vices! Looks like it sucks so much less than the series pedal.

I just need to start over fresh, my cable is too short, the arm is too long, can't get full throttle, its a jumble of parts. I have limited time and space to tear into it so I want my ducks in a row and just attack it.

The flat vertical bend in the defender footwell is much greater in dimension than the series footwell. I tried to make one of those work and you have to cut off too much to get it to fit.

Thanks Ed... mine just really sucks at the pedal side of it.. I am using a DiscoII cruise control cable housing, and a few other bits. It works I just want to start over.. the connection at the Carb is great, works well (ish) I'll sort it out.
