wanted - Defender 110 2 door

I've been searching for a while, back and forth between a 90 and a 110, gas or diesel, etc.

I came across the white 2 door at RMR and it is very much what I want/need. It is also a 2002? Does anyone know the story of this truck? link

At any rate, if you have a 2 door 110 please contact me.

thank you Keith but that is a bit more truck than I am looking for...

does anyone know the story as to the truck on the RMR site?

it's not the same truck that Roverlab posted in the chit-chat section the other day, but it's similar...

it's a really nice truck, didn't know they still had it, and yes ask RMR about it they will fill you in on the details.

I haven't been in touch with RMR, I thought I'd cast a wide net here first.

My hesitation is that I'm not looking for something with 2,000 miles on it. I want something I can drive every day, but is in good/very good condition.

I've received a few messages, thank you. I'm going to follow up with a couple of them.

I feel like this truck used to be for sale in FL for the longest time. It's an auto conversion and there was something odd about the pedal set up. Maybe the clutch pedal was left there or the hole in the floor was still there. I just vaguely remember pics of this parked in front of a nice spanish style house and having plastic on the front seats. It could be a different truck. Maybe Horsey remembers and will chime in?

I might have been wrong about it but here it is at Barrett Jackson:

There is info in this thread about the one I was referring to, unfortunately no pics but there is a link to another thread about it that doesn't work for some reason:

I feel like Horsey...

I KNEW that I had seen that truck before...thank you guys.

I'm going to contact RMR today, although I don't think that this particular truck will work out.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

I have an X-Nato, LHD,diesel, soft top 2 door 110. Do not have it on the market, but something just caught my eye, so I may be willing to part with it.
