Another funny thing about the Bronco...it's one of two vehicles I bought trying to replace my previous Defender, the other being a new 4 door Rubicon. Finally came full circle back to the Defender.

I placed an ad on the SF Bay Area Craigslist, which is local for me. I've done that a couple times with success.

My 3 and 6 year old sons get all upset when I tell them that I'm going to get rid of the Bronco and buy a Defender because they know and love the Bronco and have no idea what a Defender is. As a result I'm waiting until I have my Defender before I sell off the Bronco, although it gives my wife yet another example of how I am little more than a 14 year old boy

I'll start with a local Craigslist ad and take it from there. Thanks again for the insight

I bought my first Defender when my son was 6....he never forgot it. He's now 18 and when I sent him a picture of the one I just bought, he flipped out! He was so excited that I bought another one.

ScottS, Thanks for the great advice on posting an ad to Craigslist stating what i wanted. Got a super-clean one owner Arles Blue SW which I couldn't be happier about.

Her name is "Geraldine" courtesy of her only previous owner who treated Geraldine as her baby after her three other biological babies had grown up and left the house. She is immaculate and has just under 75k miles on her. I hope to treat her just as well as her previous owner but the bar has been set very high!

As I mentioned before I've been a pretty active lurker here over the past year or so to get a baseline knowledge of what I wanted and what to avoid in terms of purchasing a D90 and, now that I own one, I hope to be a pretty active participant as I'm sure I'll need this forum's counsel from time to time.

In the meantime, if there's anyone in Charlotte who would like to get together for coffee or a drink sometime, please let me know.

Now, I have to sell a Bronco . . .

wow that's beautiful. What number is it? Looks like the previous owner was a birmabright brotherhood member as well.

Is there a name for the style with the wheels are white? And are they steel?

Those white wheels are The Wolf style, they are steel, seen in black white and silver.

I know the previous owner and the 90. Former Old North State Land Rover Society Member. I have pictures of my old 90 and this one parked together on the beach during one of our meets somewhere. To say it was well taken care of would be an understatement.

At any rate, congrats on your new family member!!
