Wanted: d-90 pitman arm, Defender Cross Rod End

Want to convert front end of D1 to fit d-90 steering components and replace damper from stock location. If there are any other parts I will need, please feel free to chime in

pitman arm, cross rod end, stock damper, and any misc. bolts and pieces.

Question: What is normally used to mount the damper on the frame? D90 has a welded on piece to accept the damper thread. Is there something aftermarket to accommodate that for the D1 frame mounted area?

Thanks.

I'm planning on doing a damper relocation on the D1 and am looking for a D-90 pitman arm (steering drop arm) & cross rod eye end (P# RNE442)

I am almost positive those are the only parts I need but any odds and ends I might be missing please advise.

Thank you.

I wanted to add this post as maybe the verbiage of pitman arm isn't used as is drop arm and also the PN's I could find to help.

Why not just go with RTE's (or any of the other vendor's) damper relocation kit? Likely easier in the long run.

If you are inclined to weld onto your frame (and have access to a welder), I suspect I can cut off whatever mount piece you need from my D90 frame I have here for you.

Just bolt a piece of 3/8ths strap to the two holes.

Not a big fan on these types of applications.

HLC fab seems ok, but again not an application I'm looking for or the amount of money i'm willing to spend.

Not sure I want to weld on the frame but will look into the ability to bolt-in. I'll have to take a look again.

If anyone crosses over these parts, or a D-90 being parted out, please let me know.
