WANTED! 1997 D90 Soft top HELP!!

Hello, I'm looking for a 1997 Defender 90 soft top. If I could find the perfect one it would be yellow or white, have about 40k and have 4 jump seats (I coach my kids' baseball and soccer teams and I'm always giving rides to other players to or from practice). That would be the perfect world but I can't be that picky and will look at other options. If you have one you are looking at selling please let me know or if you know of one I should look at please let me know. If someone gives me a lead on one that I end up buying I will be willing to pay them a finders fee. I need the forum's help on getting a decent 97!!

Thank you for your help, Scott

If you're strict about 40k miles, here's another, no jump seats but those are ~$1k:

For super low miles you gotta pay in other words

Thanks so much for your response. I have been out to visit copley and they are terrific people. But seem to be overpriced by about 20% due to the boston and nantucket market. Hoping to get a referral to a 90 owner that would be looking to sell at mkt price.

So what do you consider market price?
Also why is 40k miles an important factor to you?

I would consider last years mkt price for 40k miles -$40,000
This years $44,000
The 40k mileage would be the sweet spot for me because I dont feel its worth the extra $ for a 20,000 mile vehicle. One with 60,000 miles will loose a decent amount of value if i sell it after driving it for another 20,000 miles.
From my research it appears a 40-60k mile vehicle is sold at reasonable prices.

Sounds like the second one I linked fits your needs then, 37k miles and I'd be shocked if you couldn't negotiate them down to under this years $44k market price you mentioned - they're asking $47.9k.

If you are buying to drive dont worry about miles worry about condition. I saw a 20 k mile truck that needs $25000 worth of work because of non use Plus on a 40 k milke truck every time you drive it you will depreciate it.

my recomendation get a higher mileage rust free truck... you will be happier...

Thanks JQ11

Thank you for the link to the second defender, it is just what I'm looking for. The problem is I emailed him twice and he hasn't responded. I don't have any other way to get in touch with him. So I still need your help as well as everyone on the forum if they can come up with anything for me. Thank you again.
