He probably wants one of these:
From LRfaq.org:
"In 1994 there were only 100 Beluga Black models all had leather Seats, A-Bar, Running Boards, rear seat and surrey top as standard features"

if you can go without the leather, Gore Ranger just listed his for sale on this site. check out the for sale section. looks like a good price with low miles!

1994 or 1995.. just not interested in an automatic or hardtop. In 1994 there were only 100 Beluga Black models all had leather Seats, A-Bar, Running Boards, rear seat and surrey top as standard features. I feel that it will be worth more. I just can not seem to locate one that does not need frame up restoration.

According to the original listing, it does have the leather seats.

Like Chris said, if I was in a position to buy, I'd JUMP all over Gore Ranger's Defender. Low miles at a crazy great price!

I have been working with that guy... or trying to work with that guy. I spoke to the fine guys at 4x4 centre, who are familiar with that particular D90. They recommended a restoration from the frame up Alot of damage due to rust and neglect. That particular truck has not been on the road since 2001.

Just to clarify, mine is not the one Heath is referring to!

Heath,

Based upon your description of what you are looking for, I am not sure that my truck is the one you are looking for except for the lower mileage part. Regardless, I am in the process of posting up all the info and pics of it.

-Jeff

Mine is not stock and I really do not have much in the way of documented service history...

Sorry for any confusion. I was refering to the vehicle currently being offered on eBay that wears the badge #1932.

I have 1908-also one of the 100 94se's. I think Jeff's truck represents an excellent value at that price.

1994 Beluga Black Defender Soft Top

If you know of a 1994 black defender in decent shape, and I am ready to jump back in the game, now that my startup company is up and running.

Ready to acquire [again] a well maintained 1994 D90 Black with Leather Seats and rear seat. Ideally, with low miles or well maintained with great service records with documented history. Email me at hbcrunch@aol.com.

Did you ever create the SVX Replica? And more details on the start-up.
