This post is jogging my memory...

I have 5 or 6 Range Rover Classic 10 spline 3rd members and I think 1 of them has a Tru Trac in it.... I'll try and check in the next day or so.

You probably already know but Trutracs are set up for either front of rear applications. You can use a rear for a front, or vice versa, but you may need to switch the internal gears/parts around. Just did this to my Classics front axle. Here's a link to the instructions.

No I didn't and I'm glad you brought it up.

Let me state: I never ran this diff in one of my own trucks so I dont know if it was a FRONT or a REAR diff??

It seems pretty *tight*, that is not too sloppy if that makes sense.
I am not a diff expert and do not set them up.
I can pull them and replace them.

Is it compatible with a 1985 110 front end?

.
A previous post told how to determine whether it is front or rear and how to switch the gears on the TruTrac for front or rear application so we are fine there.

If it is a 3.54 diff would you pull the TruTrac from the diff to save weight and because it is going in a Series LR with 4.70 gears?
The 3.54 would be a bit too high I have discovered

They are 3.54 gears and I'll wait for a separate TruTrac unit rather than the entire diff so if you want them I'd suggest PMing Nomar directly
