Smile Used/Cheaper New Tuffy Box

I am looking for a Tuffy Box(console) to go between the two front bucket seats(I currentlly have the little center seat there). It's so expensive that I was hoping for a gently used one or a source for a cheaper used one.

Greg-
thanks for the info. It looks pretty nice, but I agree it is a little steep for 15 year old item. Maybe I'll see if I can get it for a little less(email the listing person).

Those Defender boxes were and are anything but tough. The handles to open the main compartment seem to self destruct over time, plus they are made out of wood. Keep looking for a true Tuffy or make your own out of wood.

Aside from massively overpricing the cubby, that ebay guy committed the cardinal sin of calling it "rare."

Too bad you didn't want a tuffy last summer, I had one for sale for a long time and it seemed like no one wanted it.

I have a gently used tuffy I can pull out and sell to you.

How about $220 plus shipping?

I think it is the fat one. Mine comes with the cupholder (~$25). I don't really want your original box as JimC gave me his so I am covered there. It also has the radio slot (not all of them do)

Hi Ron-
Thanks for the offer on the Tuffy Box. I'm not sure if I am ready to take the plunge at the over $200 for the Tuffy. Don't get me wrong, I am sure it is worth the price. I think my limited means(low on funds) will have me going in the direction of an old military surplus ammo can(between $10-$50) or the $99.95 cubby box(Exmoor Trim...unfortunately it doesn't appear to have a lock) sold by Atlantic British. I was just hoping that somebody had some experience with the Atlantic British box so they could share their opinion with me.
Thanks Again,
Mike
