Maybe! I just swapped VDOs into my 94, and once I troubleshoot the resultant needle wiggle caused by the sender adapter and I'm 100% done with it, I'll pass the cable on to you for a good deal.

I had an adapter made to use the standard GM-style VDO sender, but the shop who made it put a slightly smaller square drive than needed on it. As such, it "gives" a little and causes wierd fluctuation occasionally. I know its this, as I shimmed the square drive and it got a little better.

More info than you care about, I guess. Just give me a day to figure out the sender wiggle, and I'll get back with you if you haven't found one otherwise.

Charles,
There is a shop here in San Diego that will make you a brand new one for around $30 - Foreign Speedo and Tach in San Diego.

Ok, let me see what Chris has but that sounds super attractive. Do they know what ends the D90 needs?

Oops! Sorry, Charles.

Got wrapped up in move preps. I'm up in RI/CT doing househunting and visiting the folks for a few days, but will get back to you on Sun/Mon when I get home. I apologize.
I'll PM you my number to get in touch as well.

Contacted the San Diego speedometer repair shop today. He has an upper speedometer cable part PRC9555 that he is using to produce new replacements. As of now he is waiting for the customer who commissioned the build, to bring in the actual speedometer to allow him to order the proper die.

He is supposed to contact me once he is able to produce the part, I'm waiting anxiously!

I will post the ordering info once it's available. And FYI rovers north can no longer get these.

I know my truck is a little different then the NAS trucks but I was able to use a one piece speedo cable in lieu of the stock two piece set up. I bought PRC6021 from RDS which is a one piece unit that connects to the transfer case and the other end to the speedo. I don't have a speed sensor or whatever else the NAS trucks have.
