Unknown RRC part

Believe this is an amplifier for my 1994 RRC LWB. Doe anyone recognize...or have one?

It's your remote lock transceiver for the key fob. If you have the fobs you're golden. If not it's useless bc you can't reprogram it to work with another fob, and vice versa.

Nice repair job w/ the black tape!

ditto what those 2 said- my 93 has a mind of its own- quiet for months /years then locks/unlocks the doors out of the blue and honks the horn a few times.

If you're unsure the units good I'd start by redoing all those tapped connectors...
