Transmission 5 speed

Long story short, took my 94 defender to the shop because it was running poorly, they got the transmission stuck in reverse. I think it got jammed and caught two gears, bending the shift fork. Went in to get my nails clipped and ended up needing a heart transplant. Looking for a decent(?) lt77 or r 380. What do you have?

Your dime or theirs?
Your dime, find a dependable transmission shop and see what they can do.

FWIW I have an LT77 that came out of my 110. The PO replaced it because of a bad second gear synchro supposedly. I'd let it go inexpensively if you have a use for it, either as is temporarily or to have rebuilt and swap...

It sounds like you're looking for one that's ready to go, but if you're interested shoot me an email or PM.

Got an R380 as well. Would recommend sending it to Rob @ Southwest Rovers for a rebuild. I have a box and can send directly to them. I'd let mine go cheap too. Pm if interested.

Go with a R380, not LT77 and put in a rebuilt or reman unit.
